O
nce again Cadillac fielded six models:
The series 37-60, 37-65, 37-70, 37-75 were all eight cylinder cars.
The 37-85 was the same as the 37-75 except now it had twelve cylinders.
The series 80 of 1936 was dropped this year.
Also the 37-90 (with 16 cylinders) was essentially the same as the 36-90 of 1936.
In fact, this was the last year for this overhead valve V-16 engine and body with its 154 in. wheelbase.
Next year, the sixteen cylinder power plant would be an L-head shoehorned into the series 75 on a 141 in. wheelbase.
