1959 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD

SERIES SIXTY SPECIAL FLEETWOOD

On this line, Fleetwood lettering was used on the front fenders and on the trim strip crossing the bottom of the deck lid. A rear facing, bullet-shaped, scoop-like convex panel was used on the rear doors and fenders and was trimmed by a similarly shaped body rub molding that extended to the front wheel well at the bottom and to the headlamps at the top. Pillared, six window styling was seen and a three-deck jeweled rear grille was featured. The rear wheels were skirted and wheelbase was now identical to all but the "Seventy-Five" models. The standard equipment list included all 6200 and 6300 features plus power vent windows and dual outside mirrors.

SERIES 6700 FLEETWOOD 75

The long wheelbase Fleetwoods were still called Seventy-Fives, although a new numerical series designation was in official use. Production models again were a nine-passenger sedan and Imperial sedan-limousine with auxiliary jump seats. Fleetwood lettering appeared on the rear deck lid trim strip. Single side trim moldings extended from the front wheel housing to the rear of the car. Standard equipment included all items found on the Sixty Special Fleetwood line.
