CT70 Mini Trail

1969-71 Trail 70 (CT70K0) (also called "Mini Trail 70 in North America"; "Dax" in Europe)

• Colors:
  • Candy Ruby Red
  • Candy Gold
  • Candy Sapphire Blue
• Handlebars: easily folded down so that the bike could be transported in the trunk of a car
• Chrome exhaust pipe: chrome heat shield
• Fuel tank: contained in the upper frame structure rather than a separate, removable unit
• Decal "TRAIL 70" was red and the stripe was black
• "HONDA" decal above the model name was white, while the side decals were black
• Speedometer was part of the headlight bucket
• Engine: 72cc OHC single cylinder
• Transmission: 3-speed with automatic clutch
• Serial number began: CT70-100001 for 1970 and CT70-200001 for 1971

1972-73 Trail 70 (CT70K1) (also called "Mini Trail 70")

• Colors:
  • Candy Ruby Red
  • Candy Yellow Special
• Handlebars were easily folded down so that the bike could be transported in the trunk of a car
• The black exhaust pipe had a chrome and black heat shield
• The fuel tank was contained in the upper frame structure rather than a separate, removable unit

1972-73 Trail 70 (CT70K1) (also called "Mini Trail 70")

1992 CT70'92

• Basically the same as the 1991 model except the stripes were purple and blue-green.
