Hilda Creek to Rampart Creek
- 114 km (171 km)
Parker's Ridge Trail. If the weather is good, take a
5 km round trip walk on Parker's ridge which goes above the treeline. At 2.5 km
along, the path leads to a viewpoint for the Saskatchewan Glacier which cannot be
seen from the highway. It is the largest valley glacier in the whole system.
- 118 km (167 km)
A long thrilling descent (500 meters) into the
Saskatchewan River Valley. The views into the valley are awesome.
- 128 km (157 km)
Cirrus Mountain Campground.
- 143 km (142 km)
Rampart Creek Campground and Youth Hostel.
This is another good place to stop if you have four days for the trip since it is
the half-way point between Jasper and Banff.
