The Sixty Special was created by giving a five-inch wheelbase extension and additional amenities to the d'Elegance model. The new Sixty Special had such exclusive features as rear passenger compartment footrests, rear overhead console, anti-lock brakes and a full vinyl top. The Sixty Special's wider sail panels gave it a more formal look.
